Most Indian marketing plans default to spreading budget across a dozen mid-tier creators. It feels prudent — more posts, more handles, more "reach." But reach is not the same as memory, and a feed full of unrelated faces rarely leaves a brand impression that survives the scroll.

Fragmentation is a tax on recall

Recall compounds when the same signal repeats in the same context. Ten creators posting once each give you ten disconnected impressions; one credible face appearing consistently across a quarter gives you a story the audience can actually finish. The maths of attention rewards concentration, not sprawl.

Accountability is the hidden lever

A single anchored face is also easier to govern: one contract, one usage window, one set of approvals, one reputation to monitor. When ten creators go live independently, no one owns the brand's coherence — and no one is accountable when a post drifts off-message.

Where a spread still makes sense

Volume creator buys earn their place in performance and UGC — when you need thousands of authentic mentions or shoppable variety. The mistake is using a scattered creator list to do a brand-building job that a concentrated, well-cast face does far better. Decide which job you are actually paying for before you split the budget.
